Doonce is a Tinkerlane app, operated by Casebuddy Pty Ltd, 10 Parkes Court, Reedy Creek QLD 4227, Australia. Contact: doonce@tinkerlane.app.
Everything Doonce knows lives in its own storage on your device:
None of it is transmitted anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
This is a limit of the system, not a promise we are asking you to take on trust. When you pick apps, Apple hands Doonce an opaque token: there is no interface that turns one into an app name, an icon or a bundle identifier. Doonce blocks what you selected without ever being told what it is.
Doonce also has no access to your screen time figures, your usage history, your contacts, your location, your photos or your messages, and does not ask for any of them.
If you allow it, Doonce reads whether a Focus is currently on, so it can show you whether your own Silence shortcut worked. It is read at the moment the screen is drawn and is never stored or sent. You can withdraw this at any time in Settings, Privacy & Security, Focus. Declining it changes nothing else about the app.
iOS does not let an app change your screen colour or set a Focus. Doonce opens a shortcut you have built yourself, by name, using Apple's public Shortcuts URL scheme. Doonce cannot read your shortcuts, cannot see what is in them, and cannot create or change one.
Doonce contains no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. It makes no network requests. Nothing about you is sold, shared or disclosed, because nothing about you is collected.
Doonce is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Australian Privacy Principles, the GDPR and similar laws give you rights to access, correct and erase personal information held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing to produce or delete on request. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.
If this policy ever changes, the effective date above changes with it. If Doonce ever begins collecting anything at all, that will be stated here plainly and before it happens.
